The client
A Barrie clinic for pelvic health and orthopedic physiotherapy.
Noshin’s Physiotherapy is a small clinic in Barrie, Ontario, led by clinic director and physiotherapist Noshin Luff. Alongside orthopedic care, it offers pelvic floor physiotherapy, a service many patients feel hesitant to ask about.
The challenge
A website that didn’t reassure patients.
The clinic needed a site that explained its services clearly, worked well on phones and made new patients comfortable getting in touch.
Pelvic health is personal. Before booking, patients want to understand what a treatment involves and feel safe asking about it, often from a phone and often late in the evening. The clinic also wanted help with content, SEO and Google Ads, so new patients could find it in the first place.
What we did
A patient-first redesign.
Over three months, from January to March 2025, a small team redesigned and rewrote the site.
- Design. A clean, modern, mobile-responsive design that fits the clinic’s branding.
- Structure. Home, About, Services and Contact pages restructured and written, with easier navigation.
- Content. Plain, calm copy that explains each service, written for the sensitive nature of pelvic health.
- Enquiries. Contact forms built into the patient journey.
- Speed. Faster page loads and better mobile usability.
- Search. SEO foundations and Google Ads to bring new patients to the new pages.
How we worked
Clear, on time and open to input.
The work ran through video meetings and messaging. The clinic director described the project as smooth and well organised: the team communicated clearly, delivered on time, answered quickly and respected her input.
What stood out to her was that the team understood both the technical and the human side of the clinic, and designed for the sensitive nature of its services.
The results
Numbers that moved.
The clinic didn’t share figures. The director reported more patients using the contact form, new patients finding the site easier to understand, and better speed and usability on phones.
They created a design that not only looked good but also made patients feel more confident in reaching out.
What’s next
Built to grow with the clinic.
With the structure and content in place, new services and pages can be added without another redesign.
Lessons for your business
What other clinics can take from this.
- Write for the nervous patient. Explain what happens in a first visit in plain words. Reassurance is what gets someone to book.
- Make contacting you the easy part. Put the form where the question comes up, not only on the Contact page.
- Design for the phone first. Most patients will read your site on a phone, so test it there before anywhere else.
